He started his administrator career back in 1989 at South Park Guest Care Center Shreveport, Louisiana and since then Daniel has dedicated his life to this sector of healthcare.
As one of the senior administrator in the State of Nevada as well as being highly-respected among his peers, residents and patients Daniel has managed acute care hospital; rehab centers; skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in multiple states all with the focus of delivering high quality care to thousands of residents over the years.
His professional success is highly driven by the commitment to serving others and assuring the Culture of Care is followed throughout his managed facilities.
During his time as a CEO of Nevada Healthcare Association, he represented the association members & organizations on issues important to providers on both State and Federal levels. He also serves as the President of Southwest Health Systems; an advisory committee for Post-Acute projects in the region.
As the CEO of PureCare his main objective is to implement a Culture of Care in all the communities under management. Along with execution of strategies that will improve residents’ day to day life in addition to training the team of professionals that will effectively manage facilities in Nevada and throughout the West.
As a native of Las Vegas, Jim has a 27-year history in the commercial real estate industry and is currently the principal and manager of several real estate operating entities in the Western United States. He has a portfolio of operating companies that have been successful in Private Equity, Development, Property Management and Investment Syndications.
Completing more than $1 billion in transactions and managing assets in Nevada, Idaho, California, Colorado, Arizona and North Dakota; Jim has acquired, managed, developed and sold more than 100 properties within single purpose entities. A focus execution of targeted asset management plans which deliver risk adjusted returns and build equity are the key components of his portfolio strategy.
Currently, he serves as the Community Advisory Board member for UNLV School of Medicine and is an active member of the Las Vegas Executives Association. He was also a Board of Trustee for the UNLV Foundation since 2004 and President of the Las Vegas Art Museum from 2006 to 2008.
As a Chief Portfolio Officer his main objective is to continue to grow the Portfolio of assets under PureCare management. Through acquiring existing facilities and/or developing new inventory along with establishing strategic asset management strategies that would benefit both the capital partners as well as the residents.
Lucia brings over 25 years’ experience from numerous health care settings. Upon receiving a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from New Mexico State University she went on to graduate from Texas Woman’s University with a Master’s of Occupational Therapy. Lucia’s first position included providing occupational therapy services to four long term care facilities over two states. She quickly fell in love with her profession as it fits her personality and natural skill set perfectly. If you ask her, she’ll say, “I hit the career lottery.”
